This 100-miler travels over flat to rolling terrain on both sides of the Connecticut River in northern Connecticut and southern Massachusetts. This is a relatively easy century ride that includes a 10-mile stretch on the Norwottuck Rail Trail between Northhampton and Amherst, MA. There is an option to by pass the trail using Bay Road: some sections of the trail are in need of re-paving. The route starts and finishes at the Stop & Shop in Granby, and there are plenty of places along the way to stop for food and water.
