One of the finest stretches of singletrack in the area, this ride features a smooth, sustained double track climb up for minimal traffic. There is one very, very technical section coming down, but there is an option to not do that part: see the map for more details. Since you're already in the park, plan on taking advantage of the other trails there (as well as swimming, hiking, boating, and camping). The entire ride is on the north side of the mountain, meaning the trail conditions stay sweet all summer long. The downside is that the snowpack doesn't allow for riding this trail most years until late May.

If you came up the snowmobile trail from the parking lot, you'll come up to this intersection- stay straight. Otherwise, you came up the road from the parking lot- so turn left.

Turn onto Scout Trail (or stay left for some really, really nice doubletrack down to Twete Road). NOTE: This trail is very technical! If you're not up to the challenge (not suprising after this far into the ride), stay left and ride out to Twete Road on some tasty, fast double-track.
