This trail was built and maintained by the Tarheel Trailblazers. It’s a short trail, but it’s pretty damn fun. I’ll usually ride several laps, mixing it up between going around clockwise and counter-clockwise. There’s not much climbing in the 3.5 miles, so this a good route for beginners to hone their skills on. The "Pump Track" at the beginning of the trail is especially useful for bike-handling practice: get some momentum and then try to maneuver around the track without pedaling. Signs designate this as a MTB-only trail, but keep an eye out for dog-walker traffic, especially on the weekends.
