The full Summit County Hike & Bike Path is 33.5 miles long. This ride features a nice out-and-back on the path plus a loop in the city of Stow at the turnaround. The path is nicely paved and overlooks the Cuyahoga Valley and part of the Cuyahoga River. The route jogs onto local roads at four different well-marked points that link between the trail sections. With few busy roads to cross and some nice long uninterrupted sections of riding, this route can be ridden fast or leisurely--a nice choice for hammerheads and joy-riders alike.
There are several parks and services rest-stops along the way, so stopping to refuel shouldn’t be a problem. You can tinker with the ride distance by starting the ride from Walton Hills, Brandywine Falls, Boston Mills, Silver Springs Park, or Munroe Falls.
