Starting from Seaside City Hall, this coastal ride travels the bay-side bike path to downtown Monterey before connecting with Velo Club Monterey’s Saturday morning ride route around the peninsula. Continuing through downtown, roll by some of Monterey’s signature attractions, the Maritime Museum and Cannery Row. Cruise by local surfers on the way to 17 Mile Drive. There, you’ll catch stunning views of the rocky coastline, sea otters, and the iconic Lone Cypress, plus some man-made wonders -- Pebble Beach’s world-class golf courses. The ride then turns inland through residential neighborhoods as it approaches its highpoint at the top of Huckleberry Hill. Linger on the Pacific views below before looping down the hill and heading home.
