The Double Black Diamond trail, at Larrabee State Park, outside Bellingham, WA.

It's a grunt going up from the Interurban Trail, south of the town of Fairhaven, but it's worth the effort, as you'll ride some very steep, but not freeride-technical chutes and bermy curves all the way down. Count on it taking the afternoon or all morning, and if it's been at all rainy in B'ham (a good bet) consider fenders. (Good beta on directions and other trails at Larrabee here.)

TO TRAILHEAD: The easiest way to get here is to roll south on the Interurban from Fairhaven. It's dead flat but scenic, with ocean views on your right and if it's clear, views of the San Juans in the distance.
