Starting where day one left off at the Skylark Motel in Novato, this ride continues along safe and scenic roads back to Santa Clara. Day two's route ventures further from the Bay than day one, resulting in a slightly more urban feel and probably warmer temperatures, not to mention its own brand of great scenery and cute downtown areas.

John Muir's house can be seen at approximately mile 37 on the right side of Alhambra, just before passing under Highway 4. Stop for lunch at mile 52 at one of the many restaurants on Railroad Avenue. After lunch, be sure to visit the railroad museum (also on Railroad Avenue). Apply caution on Highway 37 at the start of the ride. Most of Highway 37 has a nice wide shoulder. However, it also has plenty of traffic and one narrow bridge. Note that this ride has many turns, so be sure to print and followed the detailed cue-sheet.
