Hike along a renowned Salmon River on this 5-mile trip through a moss-covered virgin forest to salmon spawning pools, whitewater drops, and hollowed out Douglas firs large enough to resemble caves.

Very nice trip...Lots of great campsites...I plan on doing this one again and extending it.

TO TRAILHEAD: US 26 E for 36 miles to Salmon River Rd. Turn R, drive 6.5 miles and park in small lot on left. Trailhead is on R.
