This trail is often overlooked by local mountain bikers in exchange for trails closer to Boulder or Lyons. But if you're looking for a quick spin on rolling terrian check out the White Rocks Trail. This is also a good ride when other trails are closed due to deep snow.

Start at Teller Farm, just west of the Valmont and 95th Street,  and take the trail that heads west along Valmont. Cross road. From here it's a gradual 400-foot climb over 3 miles to a highpoint. The trail passes through wetlands (you'll likely see ducks in Boulder Creek) and grasslands (look for coyotes). You'll share the trail with hikers and horseback riders.  -Kris Wagner

TO TRAILHEAD: Teller Farm trailhead is located a half-mile west of the corner of Valmont Road and 95th Street in Boulder, CO.
